Government optimistic on energy efficiency progress

A recent report by the Department for Energy and Climate Change has revealed that in the last year “significant progress” has been made in delivering energy efficiency measures in homes across the UK.

The first annual report on the Green Deal and the Energy Company Obligation outlined that the department is “well on track” towards meetings its target of installing measures in one million homes by March 2015. This is equivalent to improving 819,000 homes by the end of September.
