Smart meter campaign plans to engage business customers

Earlier this month, Smart Energy GB has opened a consultation on its approach to supporting customers of micro businesses during the smart meter roll out.

The organization has advised, that where cost effective, it would extend its domestic customer communication to the micro business sector. Activities would be targeted at those with a separate business premises.

The consultation is intended to assess feedback on factors that would motivate the micro businesses to install smart meters. Responses are invited until 17 July 2015.
