Energy companies making "great strides" on customer service

The Ombudsman has revealed that 13,490 energy complaints have been received between April and June this year. Of those, 13,380 have been resolved.

The Ombudsman for Energy has published data for the ten biggest energy companies in the UK for this year. Chief Ombudsman, Lewis Shand Smith, said:

“The publishing of this data gives consumers the power to make informed decisions about their energy provision. Consumers are rightly more demanding than ever of the companies they use, so it’s positive news that they’ll be able to have these figures at their fingertips each quarter.??“It’s clear that energy companies are continuing to make great strides when it comes to improving their customer service, but there is still more to be done to help consumers get the best possible service.”??
