GREEN ENERGY UK PROTECTS THE RIGHT FOR ITS CUSTOMERS TO RECEIVE PAPER STATEMENTS

Energy supplier, Green Energy UK, has been awarded a “Best Practice” Mark of Distinction by Keep Me Posted, recognising their commitment to providing customers with paper bills. Green Energy UK joins other service providers who have been all awarded a Mark of Distinction because they believe in the importance of consumer choice.

Green Energy UK customers across the country , will see their right to receive paper bills and statements, without imposing unfair charges, protected.

The Keep Me Posted campaign calls on organisations including banks, councils, utility companies and telecoms providers to give their customers a choice in how they are communicated with. The Keep Me Posted Marks of Distinction means customers can instantly recognise when a business has made a commitment to providing its customers with paper bills and statements.

Doug Stewart, Chief Executive of Green Energy UK, which supplies its customers with 100% green electricity and gas, said “While we seek to keep costs to a minimum and operate digitally through the web, e-billing and email, we steadfastly believe in the customers right to choose. We know there are those who prefer paper billing. For them the option is always open and if that helps us to help them we are happy to do so.”
