Energy market update, 22nd September 2021: it’s business as usual at GEUK (Green Energy UK)
With this afternoon’s news from Ofgem >, the energy industry regulator, that the energy supply company Green Supplier Ltd (trading as Green.) has ceased trading, GEUK (Green Energy UK Ltd) would like to reassure all of its customers and its business partners, that it has no link whatsoever with the Newcastle-based company. GEUK’s business is operating as normal from its Ware (Hertfordshire) head office.
We are of course monitoring the current situation in the energy market very closely but as we have proactively hedged forwards to mitigate the current market risks, our service to our customers is unaffected. As a business that has been serving customers for 20 years, we understand the importance of risk management, especially in times of volatility – we also place a great emphasis on prudent growth, customer service and of course supplying 100% green gas and electricity. This has served us well over recent years and will for many years to come.
